New Patients & Visiting Us

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we are warmly welcoming new private and Denplan patients to our practice. We pride ourselves on being accessible, offering appointments that suit your schedule—including same-day emergency slots.

Yes, we are located on Fosse Road North (LE3 5EQ). The surrounding area offers a combination of free parking bays, pay-and-display, and residents’ parking.

Parking for Private & Denplan Patients: We offer free digital parking permits for our private and Denplan patients, allowing you to park in nearby residents’ or pay-and-display bays at no cost.

  • Important: To avoid a fine, you must provide your vehicle registration number to our reception team immediately upon arrival so we can activate your digital permit.

Absolutely. We know that visiting the dentist can be daunting for some. Our team is renowned for a gentle, reassuring approach. Please let us know if you are anxious when booking so we can take extra time to make you feel comfortable.

If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient who may be in pain.

Emergency Care

What counts as a dental emergency?

You should call us if you have severe toothache, facial swelling, uncontrollable bleeding after an extraction, a knocked-out tooth, or a broken tooth causing pain or trauma to your tongue/cheek.

Yes. You do not need to be a registered patient to see us for an emergency. We offer a Fixed Fee Emergency Appointment of £50 for new patients, which covers your assessment, any necessary X-rays, and a prescription (if clinically indicated).

We run a dedicated Out of Hours Service for urgent cases.

  • Weekdays: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

  • Weekends: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Contact: Call 07712 836139 (Private & Denplan only).

  • Call Out Fee: £185 (Denplan patients can claim back £165).

  • Note: This fee secures the reopening of the surgery for your urgent treatment.

If you are a Denplan patient, your cover travels with you.

  • In the UK (More than 40 miles away): You can visit any local dentist for emergency relief. Keep your receipt to claim back costs up to your policy limits.

  • Abroad: You can see any dentist worldwide. Retain all receipts/invoices to claim back upon your return.

  • Need Help? Call the Denplan 24-Hour Worldwide Helpline on (+44) 1962 844 999 for assistance finding a dentist.

Fees & Denplan

How do I pay for my treatment?

We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. Payment is typically due at the time of your appointment.

Denplan allows you to budget for your dental care with a predictable monthly payment. Benefits include:

  • Regular check-ups and hygiene visits included.

  • 10% discount on routine treatments.

  • Worldwide dental injury and emergency insurance.

  • Access to our Out of Hours emergency service with claim-back benefits.

If you have Denplan Supplementary Insurance, you can usually claim back emergency fees. For our £185 Out of Hours fee, Denplan patients can claim back £165.

  • You simply pay the difference (usually the £20 excess). We will provide you with the necessary receipt to make your claim.

Treatments

Can I straighten my teeth without metal braces?

Yes, we offer Invisalign® clear aligners. These are virtually invisible, removable, and custom-made to straighten your teeth discreetly. We can assess if you are a suitable candidate during a consultation.

Yes, we provide dental implants as a long-term solution for missing teeth. Implants look and feel like natural teeth and don’t require filing down adjacent healthy teeth (as bridges often do).

We offer professional whitening treatments that are safe and effective. Unlike over-the-counter kits, our professional trays are custom-moulded to your teeth, ensuring better results and protecting your gums.
